Ted Eugene Huntsman, 66, of Springdale died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born August 29, 1943 in Arkansas County, Arkansas to James Hiram and Mildred Inez Kennedy Huntsman. Ted graduated from Bauxite High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Ted, with his wife owned and operated Huntsman Trading Company which was a leader in the distribution of feed ingredients for the cattle feed industry. He took great pride in the company's success. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale. He volunteered at the Bread of Life. He was a member of the Springdale Noon Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow and served on the Board of Directors of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Washington County. He served in the United States Army Reserve. Survivors include his wife Janet Carole Huntsman of the home to whom he married May 31, 1963; one son, Wade Andrew Huntsman and wife Susan of Jenks, Oklahoma; one daughter, Megan Samantha Sukonick and husband David of San Jose, California; one brother, Roger Huntsman of Little Rock; one nephew Shannon Huntsman of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Margaret Carrell Huntsman and Amelia Grace Huntsman. Funeral services will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church in Springdale with Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorials may be made to Bread of Life, 206 W.
