Marjorie Marinshaw Sivils, age 77, of Crossett, Ark. passed away on July 28, 2010. She was born on October 5, 1932 to Alfred Francis and Marjorie Alice Salladay Marinshaw in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Sivils was a domestic engineer and a Catholic, who loved attending Sunday school at First Baptist Church. She was a past president of League of Women Voters, a Girl Scout Leader for Troops 66 & 103, and the owner of The Sewing Basket in Crossett for 10 years. Mrs. Sivils was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Earl Sivils. Survivors include four daughters, Libby Caston (Terry) of Russellville, Ark., Arlene Bates of Nashville, Tenn., Cheryl Towne (Bion) of Reno, Nev. and Kelley Howie (Curt) of Crossett, Ark.; one brother, Jack Marinshaw of Santa Clara, Calif.; two grandchildren, T.J. & Drew Watt; two step-grandchildren, Patric & Cole Howie. She will be missed by a host of friends, family and her faithful yorkie companion, Jay Jay. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Howie and Father Chuma Ibebuike officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G.
