Ruth Mateer Binns

A resident of Gonzales, La., She died on Monday, May 31, 2010. She was 88. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 3, 2010. Interment will follow at Lusk Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Don Binns of Fort Myers, Fla. and Gary Binns and wife Susan, two grandchildren, Christi Binns of Baton Rouge, La. and Matt Binns, two sisters-in-law, Corrine Mateer and Pat Mateer; She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Binns; her father Robert S. Mateer, her mother Nellie Mateer Ritchie, two infant sons, Robert F. Binns Jr. and George S. Binns, four brothers, Robert, Emmett, Herbert and Roger Mateer, one sister Ruby Jukes.
