Joseph A. Worm, Jr., 79 of Little Rock, passed away on Thurs., June 3, 2010. Born in Conway, Ark., he was a son to the late Joseph A. Worm, Sr. and Anna Margaret (Bruck) Worm. Flowers and plants were Joseph's life and he was a floral designer for over 50 years. He started loving flowers and plants at an early age and was seventeen when Velma Parker of Idlehour Florist, in Conway, took him under her wing and taught him the floral business. He was a Navy Veteran, who served during the Korean Conflict, a member of Our Lady of Good Council Church in Little Rock, Ark. where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as an usher. His previously mentioned parents, three sister Sarah Parker, Geneva Lovell and Betty Irby and two brothers Fredric Worm and Walter Williams preceded him in death. Survivors include his sisters, Mary Harrell of Conway and Pat Harris and husband Johnny of Quitman; nine nieces and nineteen nephews; sisters-in-law Evelyn Worm and Joy Williams; a brother–in-law Joe Dan Parker and a host of extended family and friends. Memorials, in Joseph's name, may be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., on Mon., June 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Conway, with Fr. Paul Worm as celebrant. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sun., June 6, with the Rosary at 7 p.m., at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. The family will be at the home of David and Lisa Harrell Hawkins.
