ALFRED RAY "OWL" CATON SR., 60, of Little Rock, Ark., entered into the arms of Jesus and the Heavenly Choir on Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was born Oct. 25, 1949, in Lonoke, Ark., son of the late Elsie Irene and Robert Quincy Caton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Caton. Survivors include his gracious wife, Nancy Caton; his children, Lisa Dease of Lessville, La., Julia Parks and Alfred Caton, Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., Regina Goss and Glenda Johnson of Little Rock; two brothers, Walter Floyd Caton of Little Rock and Billy Wayne Caton of Parkin, Ark.; one sister, Glenda Carol McGinty of North Little Rock; and 14 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his extended families at Church of the Word and the Christian Motorcyclist Association. He was dedicated to sharing the Gospel through the "Cross Penny Ministry" and many other charitable acts. His passion for singing always kept a song in his heart. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. The angels are now rejoicing. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010, and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander (501-455-1067). Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
