Thelma Eagle Bradshaw

Thelma Eagle Bradshaw, 97, of Camden, died Saturday at the Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Bradshaw was a lifelong resident of Camden and a 1931 graduate of Camden High School where she was a cheerleader and a letterman of the girls basketball team in 1930 and 1931. She was an avid football fan and a member of the Word Aflame United Pentecostal Church. Her mother, Mary Eagle was a founding member and the first Pastor of the United Pentecostal Church which is now called the Word Aflame United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Bradshaw is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bradshaw, parents, Cawthon and Mary Hufstedler Eagle and sister, Frances Cox. Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her sons, Danny Bradshaw and wife, Claudette of Hampton and Ted Bradshaw and wife, Alice Faye of Camden; sister, Martha Lewis of Camden; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren., numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Greenwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday until the graveside service at 10:30 a.m. James Thomisee will officiate.
