Betty Jean Acruman

Betty Jean Reynolds Acruman, 84, of Fordyce, died Sunday June 6, 2010. Mrs. Acruman was born in Conway, Ark. on Dec. 4, 1925 to the late Marvin & Ollie Reynolds. She was a retired Business Manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Mrs. Acruman was a member of the West Fourth Street Church of Christ, and a past president of the Fordyce Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Acruman of Fordyce, AR; a daughter, Becky Taylor and her husband James of Rockdale, Texas; two sisters, Josie McClain of Conway, Ark., Marvine Ely of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Carisa Richter and her husband Paul of Montgomery, Texas, Jared Davis of Midland, Texas; a great grandson, Keaton Richter of Montgomery, Texas. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert and George Reynolds; and two sisters, Joy Hooper and Faber Woodruff. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday June 9, 2010 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery with Brother Todd Easterling & Brother Buddy McDade officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. The family request memorials be sent to the West Fourth Street Church of Christ, P.O.
