Jimmy Ray Howard age 67, of Alexander, Ark., formerly of Warren, Ark. died Monday, June 8th, 2010 in Monticello, Ark. He was born September 20, 1942 in Bradley County Arkansas, a son of the late Thomas Wallace Howard and Lo Etta Glosson Howard. He was a retired welder, a Baptist and the husband of Drucilla Hellums Howard, whom he married September 3, 1993. He was preceded in death by brothers Grady Howard, Thomas T.J. Howard, Carold "Dooley" Howard and Herman Howard. A grandson Dustin Ray Howard. Survivors include 4 sons, Jimmy Chad Howard, Benton, Ark., Shannon Ray Howard, Alexander, Ark., Jamie Ray Cockrum, Benton, Ark., and Leslie Duron Howard, Little Rock, Ark.; five daughters, Janet Gail Smith and Stacey Michelle Howard both of Little Rock, Ark., Bridget Junell Childress, Hot Springs, AR., Carmella Gail Howard, Alexander, Ark., and Marcella Dru Smith, Friendship, Ark.; two brothers, William Howard, Arkadelphia, Ark., and James Howard, Monticello, Ark.; one sister, Carolyn Ann Wilson, Monticello, Ark.; 18 grandchildren.
