Michael Lee Koon, age 51, of Cabot, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was born June 3, 1959 in Fort Hood, Texas to the late Henry M. Koon & Iva L. Sims.
He is survived by four brothers: Rick Koon (Kathy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Charles Koon of Mabelvale; Jeff Koon-Danks (Anne) of San Diego, California; William Koon (Nikki) of Pea Ridge; four sisters: Cyndi Hamric (Bernard) Hickory Plains; Debbie Chumley of Bryant; Beverly Koon (Julie) of Cabot; Nancy Walker (Rick) of Cabot; Step-mother Elane Koon of Mabelvale; three step-brothers: Wesley Roberts (Sharon) of Bryant; Bruce Roberts (Jenny) of Benton and Mark Roberts (Kim) of Bryant; and one step-sister Avis Ort (Marty) of Mabelvale; 19 nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Thomas Funeral Chapel with interment immediately following at 1 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
