Mr. Norman Perkins, 77, Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010, in a Little Rock, Arkansas Hospital. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky, July 14, 1932 to Orville and Mollie Fields Perkins. He was a locksmith and former owner/operator of Safe Lock and Key, Hope, Ark. He was a member of Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene, Texarkana, Arkansas; a Gideon and a Korean Conflict Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Robbie Ray Perkins and his brother, Dave Perkins. Survivors Include: his wife: Laveta Stinson Davis Perkins, Hope; two sons: Gary Perkins and Kaye, Russellville, Ark., James Andrew "Andy" Davis, Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter: Vickie Williamson and Steve, Ashdown, Ark.; three sisters: Erma Jean Crawford, Hamilton, Ohio. Sally Marie Baker, Hamilton, Ohio. Wanda Sue Tippins, Fairfield, Ohio; five grandchildren: Dustin Boman and Caneta, Leoman, Tenn. Darrin Boman, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Stephanie Renee Williamson, Ashdown, Ark. Cody Winston Williamson, Ashdown, Ark. Arion Daniel Walker, Ashdown, Ark. and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services: 2 p.m., Sunday, June 13th, Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, Hope, Rev. John Hobson officiating. Burial Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope.
