Betty Jean Dunn

Betty Jean Dunn, 81, of Hampton died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Stone County Nursing & Rehab in Mountain View. She was born Sept. 5, 1928 in Spencer, La. She was retired from Dan Cook's in Camden and was a member of Faustina Methodist Church near Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Green Cole; her husband, Allen J. Dunn; daughter, Charlotte Russell; and granddaughter, Shawna Tucker. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sheila Dunn of Hampton; daughter, Wynona Steelman of Hampton; four brothers, Leroy Cole of Marion, La., James Cole of Tulsa, Okla., Charles Cole of Shreveport, La. and Boyd Cole of Marion, La.; one sister, Bobbie Joe Krause of Robstown, Texas; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faustina Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Buddy Hamner officiating.
