Elton G. Cook

Elton G. Cook, age 94, of Hot Springs died Saturday. He was born Aug. 27, 1915 in Clark County the son of J. D. and Nellie Allen Cook. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII, a retired employee of the Pine Bluff Arsenal and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Stalker and a sister, Alma Dodson. Survivors include two grandsons, Scott Stalker and Steve Stalker both of Batesville; and one granddaughter, Suzanne Magouyork also of Batesville and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Caddo Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. till service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
