Marjorie Lynn Richardson

Marjorie Lynn Richardson, age 93, of Maude, Texas formerly of the Joan Community went to be with the Lord June 12, 2010 at her daughter's home in Maude. She was born Oct. 27, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband M. L. Richardson Jr. Dec. 24, 1970. Margie, as she was called, and her best buddy Muriel Green had a ball working in their garden and around both houses. They also enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home. When a bad storm would come up, Mom would go to Muriel's and sometimes get in their homemade "Fraidy hole" through the storm. She was a perfect mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Martina and her husband Carl of Maude, Texas; four grandchildren, Kim Lolies and husband Dennis, Kandee Adcock and husband Michael all of Maude, Katye Birdsong and husband Stephen of Redwater, Texas, and one grandson Jimmy Shipman of Hot Springs; ten great-grandchildren, Matt Lolies, Kristy Lolies and one very very special great grandson, Trevor Lolies all of Maude, Josh and Hollie Lowrance, Kayla Martina all of New Boston, Texas, Kourtney Birdsong and Kristyn Hooper of Redwater, Texas, Benjamin Dunn of Hot Springs. She was also blessed with her precious great-great-granddaughter, Kloe Jo Lynn and great great grandson, Gunner Lofton. She is survived by one sister, Jo Ann Bunger of Hot Springs, a very special niece, Shelia Howell of Hot Springs; a special nephew, David Howell; a sister- in-law she loved very much, Dixie Mock of Shrevport, La.; plus many many more nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed and a very large gap left in her family. We love and miss you so much. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethlehem Methodist Church with Reverand Elmer Whalen officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Dennis Lolies, Michael Adcock, Stephen Birdsong, Josh Lowrance, Casey McCoy and Jeremy Stone.
