Thelma Ann Mooney, 89, Benton our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully June 12, 2010. She was born Sept. 17, 1920 in Newport, Ark. She was the daughter of John Quincy and Lena Gertrude Pearce. Thelma was a member of First Baptist Church and was retired from Benton State Hospital. Survivors, son, John Mooney; wife Bobbie, Benton; daughters, Debbie Mitchell, husband Don, Hot Springs, Polly Nelson, husband Travis, Benton; brother, Leroy Smith, Little Rock; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Graveside services, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Primrose Cemetery, Pulaski County by Ashby Funeral Home.
