David Arthur Schalchlin

David Arthur Schalchlin, age 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas died Monday, June 14, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on July 27, 1943 in Little Rock to his late parents Ernest Edward Schalchlin and Eva Harris. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carol Schalchlin; three sons, David Schalchlin Jr. (Annette) of Alexander, Ark. and Ernest Schalchin II of Little Rock, Ark. and Michael Schalchin (Kimberly) of Little Rock; one daughter, Shawna Ramsey (Damon) of Sheridan, Ark.; one brother, Don Schalchlin of Wye Mountain, Ark.; three sisters, Ernestine White (Jack) of Bauxite, Ark., Evelyn Howell (Bill) and Rosemary Goodson all of Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Tryce, Isabella, Hunter, Cooper and Kristyna Schalchlin and Evie and Braden Ramsey. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Schalchlin.
