Mary Bell Elledge Screeton

Mary Bell Elledge Screeton, 75, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Little Rock. She was born July 2nd 1934 in Colbert County, Alabama to Russell and Mary Carpenter Elledge. She was a retired sales clerk, and a member of LABAC Literacy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Marty Fletcher and Jerry P. Screeton, Jr.; and one brother, R.M. Elledge Jr. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Screeton; four children Patricia Roy of Houma, La., Sherry Love of Mansfield, La., Gerry L. Screeton of Little Rock and Susan H. Screeton of New York, N.Y.; four brothers, James Elledge of Russellville, Ala., J.B. Elledge of Killen, Ala., Ronald Elledge of Tuscumbia, Ala., Charles Elledge of Killen, Ala.; three sisters, Martha Carpenter of Maumelle, Ark., Patricia Pace of Russellville, Ala., and Gail Robertson of Florence, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home with Bro. David Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.
