Christine Ward Griffin

Christine Ward Griffin, 89, of Beebe, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010. She was born October 31, 1920 at Romance, Arkansas to the late Jim and Roxie Ward. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Griffin, one brother, Carl Ward, and one sister, Maxine McKay. She is survived by sister, Charlene Bradberry of Searcy. Christine has one son, Jerry (Ardena) Ashmead of Rose Bud. She has one granddaughter, Dena Michele (Mike) Thompson of Rose Bud, and two great-grandchildren, Jake and Gracie Thompson of Rose Bud. Christine loved playing the piano for her church, and also enjoyed gardening. The family would like to thank hospice for all they did for Christine. Family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2010, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Romance Cemetery. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com.
