Opal Glass

Opal Glass, 97, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, June 15th, 2010. She was retired from the North Little Rock School System as a cafeteria employee and was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church on Lynch Drive in North Little Rock. She was a mother, grandmother and caring friend. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Ernie Glass; her daughter, Tena Katchus; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock on Monday, June 21st from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22nd, at Rest Hills Memorial Park adjacent to the funeral home.
