Billie Jean Haynie Webb, 76, of Little Rock died Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was born January 5, 1934 in Gurdon, Arkansas, the daughter of John Doyle and Lona Howell Haynie. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Doyle B. Haynie and two sisters, Carolyn Sue Haynie and Sarah Jane Haynie. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roy Lee Webb, to whom she married on April 11, 1953. Also surviving are daughters, Quana Moore of Greenwood, Louisiana and Carolyn Rasner of Little Rock; sons-in-law, Bruce Moore and Jim Robinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Moore (Miranda) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Sarah Hendrix (Justin) of Little Rock, Lindsey Moore of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Torin and Lola Hendrix of Little Rock, and Chamberlin and Ava Moore of Shreveport, Louisiana; sisters, Shirley Francis (Billy) of Gurdon and Barbara Jean Morgan of Little Rock; nephews, Bruce and Kenny Haynie of Arkadelphia, and Mark Francis of Gurdon and niece, Marsha Garner of Little Rock. When things got tough, she would say "Have you prayed about that?" She was a faithful member of Markham Street Baptist Church for 54 years, where she taught Sunday School for most of that time. Her life was one that displayed God's love for all and his forgiveness for everyone. A special thanks goes out to Helen Traffenstedt, her neighbor and best friend, and to Arkansas Hospice (Tammy, Terry, Ryan, and Carly)! The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Markham Street Baptist Church with Brother Ken Jerome officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
