Mary Lou Henry Prothro

Mary Lou Henry Prothro, 93, of Conway, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. She was born April 7, 1917, at Mt. Vernon, to the late Grover Cleveland Henry and Missouri Alice (Brown) Henry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Foy Prothro, and by two brothers, Hubert Henry and G.C. Henry. Mrs. Prothro was co-owner of Town Shop Cleaners on Front Street and a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Jamie Coogan and her husband Michael of Little Rock; a son, James Foy Prothro, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and one brother, Seth Henry of Stuttgart. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, June 21, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Don Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
