Helen Juanita Williams Jeffries

HELEN JUANITA WILLIAMS JEFFRIES,86, of Little Rock, Ark. went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 1:15 a.m. She was born to the late Elijah Williams and Rosie Bell Scott Williams in Memphis, Tenn., May 20, 1924. She attended Capital Hill Elementary in Little Rock, and Scippio A. Jones High School in North Little Rock, Ark., where she was crowned Miss Jones in 1939-1940. She was the widow of the late Andrew Jeffries. She is survived by four daughters, Gloria Jean Jeffries Williams, Virginia Ann Jeffries Gipson, Belynda Joyce Jeffries, and Helen Teryce Jeffries; and two sons, Bobby Joe Jeffries and Danny Ray Jeffries; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, June 25, 2010, 6-7 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church 14th and Ringo Streets, Little Rock, funeral service will bee 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, also at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
