Helen Humphrey

Helen Humphrey, age 92 of Mabelvale, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2010. She was born on September 19, 1917 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to the late Pick Smith and Alma McElrath Smith. She was retired from Chase Bag Company. She loved gardening with flowers and vegetables. She was a member of the Community Park Church in Bryant, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Currie L. Humphrey; brother William Smith; two sisters, Hazel Husbands Gregory and Rachel Moore Childs. She is survived by daughter, Erlene Smith of Mabelvale; four grandchildren, Sheila Robinson (Everett) of Little Rock; Debra Alland of Mabelvale; Sheri Hudson (Darrell) of Roland, Allen Smith (Joanne) of Paron; sisters, Fannie "Charity" Van Meter of Oak Grove, Louisiana; Athola Gardner of Texarkana, Texas; Lillian Buffington of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Pastor Dustin Sells officiating.
