Tommy Ray Beard, 43, of Hensley passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010. He was a roofer by trade, an avid hunter and fisherman. Tommy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a firm believer in living life to its fullest. He was a loving and proud father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Emily Beard and her fiancé Colton and Jessica Hooks of Hensley; son, Jered Hooks and wife, Jacklyn of Hensley; mother, Betty Sue Beard, of Hensley; brother, Mark Beard, of Dewitt; two grandchildren, Raeleigh and Jennaleigh, of Redfield; nephew, Cody Shadden, of Hensley; and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday at Orion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Orion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
