Ida J. Mensie Robinson, 86 of Glenview North Little Rock departed this life Monday, June 21, 2010. She was born in Lonoke County on January 4, 1924 to the late Jannie and Fred Jackson. She was preceded in death by a son, Ray A. Nelson, and sister Nellie Jackson Holmes. She retired from the VA Hospital, and North Little Rock School District as a Bus Driver. She was a life long member of Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Freddie (Nanava) Jackson, Johnnie (Irene) Mensie; two daughters, Shirley (Lynn) Grace, Gwendolyn (John) Brown, one niece, Bobbie Turner, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Funeral Services 11 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010, Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church, Family Hour, 7:15-8:15 p.m., Friday, Hubble Chapel. Funeral Services entrusted to Hubble Funeral Home, 374-3134.
