Marilyn F. Kauffman, 65, of Hot Springs, passed away Sunday. Born December 11, 1944 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Erbon and Vera Francis Childers. She was a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, member of First United Methodist Church, the Virginia Clinton Kelley Democratic Women's Club and Delta Theta Chi Sorority. Survived by her loving husband, Larry Kauffman of 44 years; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Gary Kandlbinder of Hot Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Lana Kauffman of Little Rock; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Danny Snyder of Hot Springs Village; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Marlene Childers of Redfield; four grandchildren, James Kandlbinder, Erin Kandlbinder, Emma Kauffman and Valerie Kauffman; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Katie Kandlbinder. Marilyn was the proud owner of Traveling with Style fashion boutique for the past ten years. She was equally passionate about reading, politics and watching her grandchildren's many activities. She will be missed by her family and the many friends who appreciated her elegance and caring nature. A celebration of Marilyn's life will be 2 p.m., Thursday at First United Methodist Church with Reverend William O. (Bud) Reeves officiating. Visitation will immediately follow at the Christian Life Center. There will be no graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Garland County, P.O.
