Floy Mae "Susie" Green

Floy Mae "Susie" Green, age 69, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. She was born July 17, 1940 in Conway, Arkansas to Jimmy and Nellie Meyers. Susie retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Company in North Little Rock, Arkansas after 30 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Gerald Grissom. Her survivors include three sisters, Linda Ethridge, Clara Wise and Ruth Millien, all of Conway, AR; four children, Mary Sue Sutherland and her husband James of Sherman, Texas, Laura Kirk and her husband Robert of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jeff Green and his wife Cindy of Mt Vernon, Arkansas and Greg Green and his fiance Sherry Horton of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dustin and Kyle Green, Jimmy Kirk and his wife Natalie, Chris and Greg Green; five great-grandchildren, Aubrey Henderson, Gabriel Green, Madalin and Hayden Kirk and Cayden Green; along with numerous nieces and nephews, her K-9 companion, Gadget and a host of friends. Family was everything to Susie; she enjoyed spending time with all of them. She was always there when help was needed for caring for her family as well as for others. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway, Arkansas, with Ryan McDonald and Billy Green officiating.
