Hilma Smith Walker

Hilma Smith Walker 54, of Oakland, Calif., formerly of Little Rock, Ark. The daughter of Wendell and the late Eunice Johnson Smith went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 19, 2010. She graduated in 1974 from LRCH and retired as a Probation Officer for the City of Little Rock. Her loving survivors include: her husband, John Tiller Walker; son, Trey Jones; parents, Wendell and Dorothy Smith; siblings, Pha, Rev. Wendell, Nickie, Pam, Penny (Melvin) Potts, Rev. Rosalyn (Bishop H.H) Brookins, Kellie (Shirley), Anitra Smith and a host of other relatives and special friends. A celebration of Hilma's life will be Monday, June 28, 2010, 11 a.m., at Bullock Temple CME Church, 1513 S. Park St., LR. Family visitation will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010, 5-6 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
