Dessie Lee Tate Cullens

Dessie Lee Tate Cullens, 93, of Watson, Arkansas died October 31, 2010 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was born August 9, 1917 in Becker, Mississippi the daughter of the late, Green Berry Tate and Carrie Reese Tate. Her husband, Jesse James Cullens, son, Jack Cullens; two daughters, Mary Francis Ussery and Deanna Mae Bailey; three brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Cullens was a member of the Watson Baptist Church. She retired from the Delta School System where she had worked for twenty-one years in the cafeteria. After her health declined, she moved to Redfield to be near her daughter. Survivors include her daughter, Myrna Louise Dobbins, Redfield, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren Services held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Watson Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Cantley officiating. Followed by interment in Watson Cemetery, Watson, Arkansas. Memorials in her memory can be to Baptist Orphanage in Monticello, Arkansas or charity of donor's choice.
