Diane Sue Hughes Johnson,

Diane Sue Hughes Johnson, 60, of Little Rock, Ark. was born on April 6, 1950 to Carra H. Hughes Sr. and Vernice Hughes who preceded her in death. She also had three siblings to precede her in death, Alma Hughes Terry (California), Virginia Hughes (Little Rock) and Carra Hughes Jr. (California). She was united in marriage to Melvin Johnson Sr. on October 26, 1969 and from this union were born four children, Melvin (Michele) Johnson II, Brian (Jackie) Johnson, Jenifer Johnson and Zachary Johnson all of Little Rock, Ark. The Lord blessed her with beloved, son, Jonathan Matthew Bryant (mother, Arnell). She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters; Shirley Pennington, Margaret Scott and Sandra Hughes all of Little Rock, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Family hour will be November 3, 2010 from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Scott, Ark. on November 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery St., Little Rock, Ark. 72202.
