Gladys Louise Cates

Gladys Louise Cates, age 90, died October 31, 2010. She is survived by her children, Donna (Jim) Rorex of California, Roy Cates and Ray (Linda) Cates of Carlisle, and Debbie (Howdy) Frisby of Lonoke, one brother, Charles Flynt, Jr. of Cabot, two sisters, Sue Allen of Little Rock and Anna Lee McGinley of Oregon, grandchildren, Todd Rorex and Adam Rorex of California, Jodie Frisby, Matthew Frisby and Will Frisby of Lonoke, and Jeffrey Cates of Carlisle, and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jeff Cates, parents, Charles and Annie Flynt, brothers, James, and Richard, sister, Juanita and a daughter-in-law, Libby Cates. She devoted her life to studying the Bible and helping others learn more about the Bible. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 3 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke with burial in Carlisle Cemetery. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. the day of Service.
