Leota Geneva Warford

Leota Geneva Warford, 86, of Benton, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 31, 2010. She was born August 17, 1924 in the Fairplay Community to the late James and Hariett Floyd. Leota was a faithful member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, worked in the Nursery, and was a member of the Ready Club. She worked as a registered Nurse at Baptist Hospital and Saline Memorial Hospital until retirement. Leota was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Warford, brothers, Wesley and Leslie Floyd and sisters, Sarah Riggan and Verda Bridges. Survivors, son, Darrell Warford and wife, Emily,Ten Mile Community, daughter, Neva Warford, Little Rock, sister, Doris Taplin, Little Rock, grandsons, Eric Warford, Alexander, Brock and Darren Warford, Ten Mile Community, granddaughters, Shelli Robertson, Benton, Keeli and Ashli Warford,Ten Mile Community, great-grandchildren, Tilly Warford, Alexander and Micah Robertson, Benton. Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m., Tuesday with Bro. Josh Robertson and Bro. Darrin Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery.
