Ira Williams, 64, of Little Rock, departed this life November 1, 2010. Ira was a graduate of Alcorn State University where he received a master's degree and Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. He was employed by the Rosedale Pubic School District. He also taught at Como School District, Memphis Public School and also Nashville, Tenn. Pubic Schools. Ira was a member of Omega Psi Phi. Preceded in death by, parents, Lee and Mozella Williams; siblings, J.W., Nathaniel, L.W., J.C, Johnny B., Sam P. Williams, Luella Green, Dorthy Perkins, Hattie Grandberry. He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Ira Spencer of Austin, Texas, LaNedra Williams, Tamari Williams Jones (Kenzaki), Vivekia Taylor; brother, Bishop Charles E. Williams; sister, Ora B. Williams of Jackson, Miss.; five grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation: 12-2 p.m. Saturday with funeral service begining at 2 p.m., both to be held at United Baptist Church in Cleveland, Miss., Bishop Charles E. Williams officiating.
