Armon Marie Atchley

Armon Marie Williams Atchley, 89, of Maumelle peacefully passed away Tuesday November 2, 2010 at her home. She was born March 9, 1921 in Ramsey, Arkansas. She graduated Princeton High School as salutatorian of her class and later received her beautician licenses, working in Arkansas and California. She continued her education at Lundlow Real Estate School where she became a real estate broker. She was a hard worker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a member of Prosperity Baptist Church in Ramsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Meece Gill Williams; brothers, Laudell Williams, Dick Williams, Jerry Williams and sister, Helen Stell. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William Lyle Atchley of Maumelle; daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and Jesse Anderson of Maumelle, Donna and Jimmy Jones of Ramsay; brothers, Nute Williams of North Little Rock, Bruce Williams of Batesville; sister, Mamie Ruth "Top" Wheeler of Fordyce; grandchildren, Steven Anderson of Maumelle, Tommy Jones and wife Maggie of Little Rock, Lavonne Juhl and husband Jonathan of Maumelle, Clayton Anderson and wife Jeri of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Braden and Kathryn Claire Jones, Nathan and Lauren Juhl and Braydon Anderson. Memorials may be made to Prosperity Baptist Church in Ramsey. Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial at McDonald Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
