Generous and Gentle, Imogene Betty Jo Young, age 77, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Oct. 30, 2010 at Jacksonville, FL. She was born on September 8,1933 in England, Arkansas to her parents, Otis and Martha. Imogene had married William Young and between them they had seven children. Surviving Imogene are four sons, Jimmy Bowers of Conway, Ark., Roy Young of Mayflower, Ark., Donald Young of Colorado Springs, Colo., Rodney Young of Jacksonville, Fla. and two daughters, Mary Bahan of Little Rock, Ark., and Janet McCue of Jacksonville, Fla. Imogene was also blessed with a great host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One daughter, Martha Singley of Greenbriar, Ark., predeceased Imogene. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation for Imogene at 6-8 p.m. on Thursday , November 4 at Rest Hills Funeral Home, Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. Burial will follow at 2 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010, Rest Hills Cemetery. She has stepped from one life into true life. Surely, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
