Toni Lynn Matthews

Toni L. Matthews, age 57, of Little Rock, Ark. died Tuesday November 2, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born January 3, 1953 in Warren, Ark. she was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School Class of 1972 and a graduate of Hendrix College Class of 1976 with an education degree. She was a former teacher of the Arkansas City Public School System, a 37 year employee of Southwestern Bell and AT.&T., member Lakeside United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, Ark. and preceded in death by her father Kenneth Matthews. Toni enjoyed ballroom dancing for many years, was an avid reader and loved a good movie. She was a very generous and loving person, a devout daughter, sister, aunt and a good friend to many. Survivors are her mother Barbara Johnson Matthews, Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Cliff Matthews and spouse Liz, Pine Bluff, Ark., one nephew, Casey Matthews, Little Rock, Ark.; one uncle, Wayne Matthews and spouse Claire, Hot Springs, Ark.
