Barbara Jean Kennedy

Barbara Jean Kennedy (Nix) of Jacksonville, Ark. was born April 16, 1938 in Heber Springs and passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Jacksonville. She is survived by her husband Junior Kennedy of Jacksonville; sons, Bryan Kennedy and wife Tonya of East End; Brett Kennedy and wife Donna of Jacksonville. Other survivors include one aunt, Opal Knight of Heber Springs; two brothers, four sisters, and nine grandchildren; Chelsea, Jessica, Rachel, Spencer, Crystal, Jordon, Julia, Jordan, and Colton and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Faith. She was preceded in death by her two sisters. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
