Lynda Gail Maxwell

Lynda Gail Maxwell, 64, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Lynda was born December 25, 1945, in Sheridan and was the daughter of Ryland and Ruby Jeanette McCaskill Robinson. She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff, where she graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1964. She attended Henderson State University for 2 ½ years. After college, Lynda briefly worked as a beautician. Lynda was employed for 19 years at Dillard's Department Store, retiring from there in 2002. She then went to work for Triple A Chiropractic and worked there for 10 years to the present. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Her survivors include her parents, Ryland and Ruby Robinson of Pine Bluff; her mate, John Barbaree of Pine Bluff; her ex-husband, Fred Maxwell of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Leah (Scott) Morgan of Toadsuck and Kerri Melton of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Kaleb Peyton and Trey Melton; stepchildren, Scott (Amy) Sparks of Greenbriar and Brandon (Jennifer) Barbaree of England and Shannon Allbright of Pine Bluff; step-grandchildren, Jordan, Tristan, and Braden Sparks, all of Greenbriar, Brett and Brynnlee Barbaree of England, and Taylor Allbright of Pine Bluff; brothers, Clayton (Jeanette) McCaskill of Pine Bluff and Charles (Jo) McCaskill of Lufkin, Texas; a sister, Retha (Conrad) Puckett of Houston, Texas; and Dwight Puckett of Houston, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday, November 5, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Robinson's. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2010, 11 a.m., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverends Todd Howard and Steve Monk officiating.
