C. B. Stark

Mr. C. B. STARK, 86, of North Little Rock died Saturday. He leaves behind a loving and devoted daughter, Sandra Kaye Bell and her husband Jerry, of North Little Rock; a grandson, Shawn S. Stark of Fayetteville (formerly of North Little Rock); a brother, William "Bill" Stark of Sherwood; stepbrother, Billy Bittle of Heber Springs, stepsisters, Geneva King of Pangburn and Irene Verser of Rogers, and daughter-in-law Sharon Stark of North Little Rock. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends who loved and respected him. Also his beloved and faithful Boston Terrier and constant companion, "Spanky". Mr. Stark was a veteran of WWII, and received a purple heart for his service and injuries. He was also a Mason. He had retired from Timex Corporation. He was an avid golfer until recently when his health prevented him from playing as he once did. One of the highlights of his life was getting a hole in one. C. B. was a kind and generous man who was known to stop and give the shoes off his feet to a homeless man. A brief graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 in the outdoor chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501)835-3515.
