Leeman Nalley

Leeman Nalley, age 70, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. He was born Jan. 13, 1940 in Benton, Ark. Mr. Nalley retired from Alcoa Aluminum and was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Daisy Willis Nalley; two brothers, Carl and Louis Nalley and five sisters, Doris Wright, Elizabeth McPherson, Charlene Beaty, Martha Rogers and Mary Rachel Nalley. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Myrtle Sossamon Nalley; son, Scotty Nalley and wife Vicki; two daughters, Credonna Wooley and Dana Hester; four brothers, Leroy, Willis "Coke", Ted and John Nalley all of Benton; eight grandchildren, Nathan Nalley and wife Carly, Mimi Vernon and husband Tyler, Cassie Nalley, Seth LaCook, Hayden Hester, Tara Nalley, Kaitlyn Nalley and Noah Nalley and two great-grandchildren, Nathan Benaiah and Josiah Daniel Leeman Nalley. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Sharon Cemetery. Rev. Don McCutcheon and Rev. Muncy Harris will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Saline Memorial Hospice at 23157 Hwy I-30 South in Bryant, Ark., 72022.
