David Hallman

David Hallman, age 63, of Eudora, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born March 4, 1947, the son of the late Preston and Irene Hallman. David was a master electrician but his true passion was for the children of the community and especially the children that are involved in rodeo. David had a zest for life with a hearty laugh that could put a smile on anyone's face. His life is celebrated by his wife of 20 years, Jackie Akins Hallman of Eudora; 2 sons, Mike Knight of Ward and Greg Knight and wife Sandra, of Searcy; a daughter, Angie Knight Hankins and husband, Kipp, of Cabot; a sister, Linda Martin and husband, Marty, of Kokomo, Indiana; 5 grandchildren, Andrea, Kadie, Brandon, Jessica and Garrett; two great-grandsons, Wylie and Shepherd; a niece and nephew and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A Celebration of David's Life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Jennie Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Slaughter officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock.
