Donald H. Blount

Donald H. Blount, age 80, of Canton, Ohio, and previously Searcy, Ark. died Nov. 4, 2010. Born in Canton, Ohio, a son of the late Noah and Leslie (Kilman) Blount. He retired from NIBCO Corp. Married for over 62 years to Ellen (Mason) Blount. His parents, two brothers, David and Golden, and a sister, Barbara, preceded him in death. He is survived by two brothers, William (Bonnie) of Detroit, Mich., Ernest (Martha) of Searcy, Ark.; two sisters, Edie (Chuck) Hein and Carol (Dick) Dye of Canton, Ohio. Also survived by a son, Leslie A. Blount, his wife Lucinda (Kim of Mosinee, Wis. and a daughter, Linda L (Blount) Brown and her husband David of Oak Creek, Wis., seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many loved ones. A member of West Race Baptist Church many years. Graveside service is Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Ark. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West Race Baptist Church Memorial Scholarship Fund.
