Cheryl Lynn Kanning

Cheryl Lynn Kanning, born May 18, 1958 in Butte, Montana. Cheryl Lynn went to be with the Lord after an unexpected death in Bentonville, Arkansas where she had resided for several years. Cheryl was a loving mother and absolutely adored her granddaughter, Aidan. She enjoyed painting, reading, and dreamt of exciting travels. We will forever miss her fun and outgoing personality, her laughter, and her unwavering support through anything. Cheryl is survived by parents, Aleck and Delores Vavas, spouse Michael L. Kanning, daughter, Briana (Brad) Beazely, son, Josh Lockett, son, Michael R. Kanning, granddaughter, Aidan Beazley, brother, Robert (Teri) Vavas and sister, Alecka (Dan) Madden. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Cheryl is preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret Constantine, Helen and John Vavas, uncles, William Constantine and Roy Kelley and niece, Dana Joyce Vavas. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 12, at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Butte, Montana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the college trust fund of Aidan Sofia Beazley, P.O. Box 3472, Butte, Mont 59702.
