Paul Edward Wynne, 70 years old, fell asleep in Christ this Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 at his home in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was born December 21st, 1939 in Little Rock to Paul Hugh and Ruby Nell Wynne. Paul attended Old Main, North Little Rock High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Following his freshman year of college, he enlisted in the Arkansas Air National Guard. After serving his country, he began a career in sales. He worked in the paint industry for many years in sales and management, most notably for Anchor Paint Warehouse of Little Rock for 35 years. Paul was a ham radio enthusiast for the past 41 years and a member of ADXA. He has many friends in the field today and has always appreciated their support and time. Paul also enjoyed being on the water, a fisherman and boating enthusiast, whether it was on the lake or on the ocean and loved to travel with the Flamingo Friends. He was a dedicated member to Zion Hill Baptist Church and valued his brothers, sisters, and friends in Christ there. He is survived by wife of 33 years, Myrtle Wynne of Jacksonville, Ark.; his son Paul Clayton and and Paul's wife Rebecca Wynne of Little Rock, Ark.; daughter Debra Wynne and her husband Walter Miller of Westminster, MD; and grandchildren Russel Miller, Emily Miller, Kayleigh Wynne, and Chloe Wynne. Visitation will be tonight, November 11th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home of Sherwood, located at 7700 Hwy. 107, they can be reached at 501-834-1191. The funeral service will be at the same location on Friday November 12th at 11 am and will be officiated by Brother Terry Fortner. Pallbearers include Terrel Gipson, Paul Daulton, David Flake, Rick Roderick, Tony Abbott, and Lanny Vines. Graveside service will be held at Salem Cemetery in East End on Arch Street following the funeral service.
