Bobbie Dean Brown, age 88, of Perryville, passed away, November 11, 2010. She was born August 14, 1922 in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas to Will and Gertie Millier Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, to whom she was married for 65 years, Charles W. "Chock" Brown; five sisters, Willie Mae Cox, Mildred Williams, Ida Brown, Artie Gullett, and Lydia Harkey; two brothers, Johnny and Roy Cox. She is survived by a daughter Gail (Ron) Tezel; two sons, Bobby(Janet) Brown and Tommy(Sue) Brown; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. Because of her faith she was able to endure a long and suffering battle with cancer with courage and dignity never complaining once. Material things meant nothing to her. She was totally devoted to her God, family and friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, November 13, at First Baptist Church of Perryville with Bro. Gene Tanner and Dr. Mike Stanley officiating. Burial will be at Smyers Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 12, at the funeral home in Perryville.
