Maxine Bogy

Maxine Bogy, 76 of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 15, 1933 in Sherrill, the daughter of John and Luvenia Robinson Harrison. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School and married Joe Bogy on July 2, 1954. A homemaker and retired Civil Service employee, she was a member of Marshall Road Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe Bogy; three daughters, Elizabeth (Ken) Allen of Dallas, Texas, Susan (David) Russell of Ames, Iowa, and Lori (Randy) Black of Jacksonville; two granddaughters, Zoe Russell of Ames, and Kelli Black of Jacksonville, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Loyd (Pete) Harrison. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Sammons officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Memorial Park, Pine Bluff. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
