Eileen Ann White

Eileen Ann White, age 86, of Crossett, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Louisville, KY. She was born in Baltimore, MD on May 28, 1924. Eileen was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she served in various ministries for many years. She retired from the purchasing department of the Georgia-Pacific Plywood Mill after 17 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Patrick and Mary Dunn Friel, her 12 siblings and her husband of 51 years, Leo G. White Sr. Survivors include five sons, Paul D. White (Tonya) of Panama City, Fla., Grady White (Libby) of Crossett, Ark., James P. "Jimmy" White of Memphis, Tenn., Douglas White (Kathleen) of Louisville, Ky., and Robert F. "Bob" White of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Chuma Ibebuike and Father Neil Pezzulo officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com) Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 2 to 5 p.m. (rosary at 4:30 p.m.) at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Crossett.
