Jamie Elizabeth Brian James

Jamie Elizabeth Brian James, 92, of Camden, died November 11, 2010 at Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City, Ark. She was there to be close to her beloved granddaughter, Jamie Collins. Jamie was born in Dallas County March 9, 1918. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Birdie Hern of Holly Springs, Ark.; her husbands, Glyn Posey, Elvin Brian, and Willis James; her son, Jerry Lee Posey of Camden; one brother; and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Glyn Bardsley of Camden; four grandchildren; Jamie Collins of Paragould, Gary Riley of Searcy, Michael Riley of Stephens, Yvette Atchison of Camden; five great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Scarlet of Fordyce, Ark. Jamie was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church and was happiest when she was serving her God and working at Ouachita County Medical Center. After 20 years of service, she retired and then worked caring for many in their homes. Her family was always foremost in her plans and will forever remember her love and prayers. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
