James Marion Walker

James Marion Walker, 73, Clarksville, died Saturday at home. Graduate of Clarksville High School and College of the Ozarks, member of First Presbyterian Church. He was an employee of Bechtel Co. for 17 years. Played trumpet with the James Walker Band and later with Foy Howard and the Moonlighters Band. Survived by wife, Wanda Brotherton Walker, daughter, Nancy Kern and husband Leon, Seneca, S.C., sons, Gary Eckert, Minneapolis, and Paul Eckert and wife Rachael, Crystal River, Fla., five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister, Iris McAnally and husband Tom, Conway, Ark. Services 10 a.m., Tuesday, First Presbyterian Church, burial West Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, P.O.
