Sonja Joy Dalrymple Greer, 69, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, gifted musician and life-long servant of her Lord, is no longer living by faith but by sight. She was born on Feb. 15, 1941 in Norfork, Ark., and escaped the bonds of this earth on Nov. 11, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nina Cheney Dalrymple of Searcy. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James E. Greer, of Fort Smith; one daughter, Jenifer Joy Alimena and husband Dale, and two grandsons, Jordan and Aaron Alimena, all of Owasso, Okla. Viewing was held at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Smith on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 6 to 7 p.m. The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, Nov. 15. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery in Ozark. Services are under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
