Richard Dixon Ewing

Richard Dixon Ewing, 77, of Cabot, died November 12, 2010. Mr. Ewing was born June 7, 1933 in Browning, Mo. to the late Henry Steven and Anna Offield Ewing. Mr. Ewing is a US Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars until he became disabled and was honorably discharged. He was a loving father and grandfather. His past times were watching football, working crossword puzzles and tinkering with watches. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Etsuko Ewing. He is survived by two sons, Robert Steven Ewing and wife Rosalina of Cabot and Richard Michael Ewing; one daughter, Deborah Bales and husband Kevin of Austin Texas; four brothers, Don, Dale, Garry, and Larry Ewing as well as three grandchildren, Holly Ewing, Rebecca Renuard, and Marcela Ewing. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery with military honors being conducted Arrangements are entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
